We're Evgenia and Victor, the people behind EV Acropolis Apartments.
Athens has always been home. Today, we divide our time between Greece, the Netherlands, and France, but Athens, will always be part of who we are.
Our apartments are in Koukaki, at the foot of the Acropolis — a neighbourhood that feels both authentically local and wonderfully connected to everything Athens has to offer. It's where mornings begin at the neighbourhood bakery, afternoons lead naturally towards the Acropolis, and evenings end in cafés and tavernas filled with local life.
These apartments are part of our family's story. Long before we welcomed guests, they were places where our family gathered, celebrated, and created memories.
When we opened our doors to guests, we simply began welcoming new people into homes that had already been filled with life. We've always believed that the most memorable journeys are not only about the places we visit, but also about the people we meet along the way.
The name EV Acropolis Apartments carries a small piece of us too — our initials, side by side, just as we've built this journey together.
This website is an extension of that journey. Here we share our homes, our favourite places in Athens, travel guides, photography, road trips across Europe, and the destinations that have inspired us along the way. Every recommendation comes from our own experiences — the same places we'd happily recommend to our closest friends and family.
